IMF下調(diào)亞洲經(jīng)濟預(yù)期
The International Monetary Fund on Wednesday revised down its 2020 forecast for the Asian economy to a contraction of 2.2 percent, calling it "the worst outcome for this region in living memory."
國際貨幣基金組織(IMF)10月21日下調(diào)今年亞洲區(qū)經(jīng)濟預(yù)測至負(fù)增長2.2%,稱"這是有記憶以來亞太區(qū)面臨的最糟糕的局面"。
The latest forecast is a downgrade compared with the projection of a 1.6 percent contraction in June.
今年6月IMF曾預(yù)測今年亞洲經(jīng)濟萎縮1.6%,最新預(yù)測值較這一數(shù)字又有所下調(diào)。
Australia will see a contraction of 4.2 percent in 2020, and Japan's economy will shrink by 5.3 percent. South Korea will contract by 1.9 percent, while New Zealand is expected to see a sharp contraction of 6.1 percent.
IMF稱,2020年澳大利亞經(jīng)濟將萎縮4.2%,日本經(jīng)濟將萎縮5.3%,韓國經(jīng)濟將萎縮1.9%,而新西蘭經(jīng)濟預(yù)計將急劇收縮6.1%。
India's economy experienced a much sharper than expected contraction in the second quarter, and is expected to recover slowly in the coming quarters, according to the report, which projected India's economy to contract by 10.3 percent this year.

The Chinese mainland is maintaining the suspension of outbound group tours and inbound tourism due to the high risk of a resurgence of coronavirus infections this winter.
文化和旅游部10月21日發(fā)布通知稱,由于今年冬季新冠疫情反彈的風(fēng)險較高,暫不恢復(fù)出境團(tuán)隊旅游和入境游業(yè)務(wù)。
A notice issued by the Ministry of Culture and Tourism on Wednesday said operators of travel agencies must normalize control and prevention measures, and cannot offer services to nonresident foreigners. Outbound group tours are also forbidden.
通知稱,旅行企業(yè)必須堅持常態(tài)化疫情防控措施,不得為非常住外籍人士提供旅游服務(wù),也不得經(jīng)營出境團(tuán)隊游業(yè)務(wù)。
The ministry suspended domestic and overseas group tours by travel agencies on Jan 24 due to the coronavirus outbreak.
由于新冠肺炎疫情暴發(fā),今年1月24日,文旅部要求各旅游企業(yè)暫停經(jīng)營國內(nèi)以及出入境團(tuán)隊游業(yè)務(wù)。

In a bid to speed up the race to find a vaccine for the novel coronavirus, the UK government announced Tuesday morning it will be launching some controversial vaccine trials known as challenge trials.
