A cellphone number that ends with five "eights" was offered for 2.25 million yuan ($325,000) at a court-organized online auction on Sunday.
8月16日，在法院組織的一場網(wǎng)絡(luò)拍賣會上，一部尾號為5個"8"的手機(jī)號拍出了225萬元高價(jià)。
The phone number, which begins with "1890" and ends with five "eights", was issued by China Telecom. It was put up for auction on the Taobao e-commerce platform with a starting price of 2,000 yuan.
這部以"1890"開頭、尾號為"88888"的中國電信手機(jī)號由北京市朝陽區(qū)人民法院委托淘寶電商平臺進(jìn)行拍賣，起拍價(jià)為2000元。
A total of 589 people participated in the auction, which was organized by Chaoyang District People's Court in Beijing. 5,051 bids were made, attracting the attention of nearly 70,000 netizens.
本次拍賣共589人參加，共經(jīng)歷5051次出價(jià)，吸引近7萬網(wǎng)友圍觀。
Starting 10 am Saturday, the auction was estimated to end 24 hours later.
拍賣自8月15日10時開始，原本預(yù)計(jì)24小時后結(jié)束。
But as people continued to make bids, the deal was not sealed until 11:23 am Sunday, when the lucky phone number fetched a staggering 2.25 million yuan.
但是由于不斷有人出價(jià)，拍賣延時，直至8月16日11時23分，這個靚號最終以225萬元的驚人價(jià)格落槌成交。
The figure "8", whose pronunciation resembles "fa" in Mandarin which means fortune, is a lucky number in Chinese culture.

Annual pass holders will no longer be required to secure a visitation spot prior to the visit, a requirement that was introduced when the park initially re-opened with limited capacity on May 11.
