8月13日，國(guó)家衛(wèi)健委及教育部發(fā)布了分別適用于高校、中小學(xué)校、托幼機(jī)構(gòu)的《秋冬季新冠肺炎疫情防控技術(shù)方案（更新版）》，有序推進(jìn)秋季學(xué)期復(fù)學(xué)復(fù)課。

Schools across the country will reopen on a staggered schedule in the coming weeks, and a number of universities and colleges in some cities, including Beijing, welcomed their first batches of students who were checking in or registering on Saturday.
未來(lái)幾周，全國(guó)各地的學(xué)校將分批開(kāi)學(xué)，8月15日，北京等城市的高校迎來(lái)第一批注冊(cè)報(bào)到的學(xué)生。

【單詞講解】

這里的staggered是形容詞，表示“錯(cuò)開(kāi)的”，比如疫情期間，很多公司實(shí)行staggered working hours（錯(cuò)峰上下班）政策，也就是不同部門(mén)的員工上下班以及午休的時(shí)間各不相同，以避免同一時(shí)間段內(nèi)人群在同一個(gè)場(chǎng)所聚集。上文中的staggered schedule也是類(lèi)似的意思，不同年級(jí)的學(xué)生開(kāi)學(xué)報(bào)到的時(shí)間不同，由此也可以避免校園里學(xué)生大量聚集。此外，staggered還有“震驚的”意思，比如：I was staggered at the price of the bag.（這個(gè)包的價(jià)格嚇到我了）。

《中小學(xué)校秋冬季新冠肺炎疫情防控技術(shù)方案（更新版）》要求，各地根據(jù)當(dāng)?shù)匾咔榉揽仫L(fēng)險(xiǎn)級(jí)別和疫情應(yīng)急響應(yīng)級(jí)別作出中小學(xué)開(kāi)學(xué)決定。同時(shí)，鼓勵(lì)具備條件的中小學(xué)校教職員工開(kāi)學(xué)前自愿接受核酸檢測(cè)（voluntary nucleic acid testing）。

The guideline said all teachers, students and staff from low-risk areas must present a green health code to be able to return to school. Those from medium-risk or high-risk areas will need to have a negative result in a nucleic acid test in the week before their return to campuses.

Colleges and universities should step up checking, registration and management of food and parcel delivery workers entering campuses, and designate areas for the collection and delivery of parcels, it added.
