The World Health Organization (WHO) said on Wednesday that it will resume trials of anti-malaria drug hydroxychloroquine as a potential treatment of COVID-19 after having previously announced a temporary pause early last week.
世界衛(wèi)生組織6月3日表示，將恢復抗瘧疾藥羥氯喹治療新冠病毒的試驗，上周早些時候世衛(wèi)組織暫時叫停了相關試驗。

"On the basis of the available mortality data, the members of the Trial's Data Safety and Monitoring Committee recommended that there are no reasons to modify the trial protocol," WHO Director-General Tedros Adhanom Ghebreyesus said.
世衛(wèi)組織總干事譚德塞稱，基于現(xiàn)有病亡率數(shù)據，安全性數(shù)據監(jiān)控委員會的成員認為，沒有理由修改試驗方案。

"The executive group received this recommendation and endorsed continuation of all arms of the Solidarity Trial, including hydroxychloroquine."
執(zhí)行小組接納了該委員會的意見，同意繼續(xù)進行"團結試驗項目"所有分支試驗，包括羥氯喹試驗。

WHO's announcement of a temporary halt, made on May 25, came after a paper published in medical journal The Lancet showed that people taking hydroxychloroquine were at higher risk of death and heart problems than those who were not.
5月25日，世衛(wèi)組織宣布暫時叫停羥氯喹抗新冠病毒試驗，此前醫(yī)學期刊《柳葉刀》上發(fā)表的一篇論文顯示，與不服用羥氯喹的人相比，服用羥氯喹的人出現(xiàn)死亡和心臟問題的風險更高。

Facebook is to allow users to clean up their profiles by hiding posts and photographs dating from when they were teenagers or at university amid fears it could hinder their future job prospects.

The social network said it had added the feature because "we know things change in people's lives" and that it wished to make it easier for people to "accurately reflect" who they are in the present.

It said the public would be able to use the "Manage Activity" tool to search their posts by year or person, and delete or archive those posts in bulk.

If users archive posts, they will not just be hidden from timelines, as they are with the current "Hide" feature, but from across Facebook as a whole, regardless of where it was posted or who was tagged in it.

China will allow airlines to increase the number of international passenger flights in and out of the country if the epidemic risks are controllable, said the Civil Aviation Administration of China on Thursday.
民航局6月4日表示，在疫情風險可控的前提下將適當增加出入境國際客運航班數(shù)量。

Domestic and overseas airlines that have been operating international passenger flights under restrictions imposed on March 29 will still stick to the previous plan, with domestic airlines flying one flight a week on one route to any country and foreign airlines operating one flight a week to China, the administration said.
已在3月29日起實施的航空限制框架下運營國際客運航班的國內外航司將繼續(xù)按照原方案運行，即國內每家航司至任一國家航線只能保留一條，每周班次一班，國外每家航司來華航線只能保留一條，每周班次一班。

Foreign airlines with no international passenger flights to China will be allowed to operate one flight per week starting June 8, it added.
自6月8日起，未執(zhí)飛往返中國航班的國外航司將允許開通一條來華航線，每周班次一班。

The administration will also have a reward and circuit breaker mechanism.
民航局還將實施航班獎勵和熔斷機制。

If the number of passengers who have a positive nucleic acid test stands at zero for three consecutive weeks on the same route, airlines will be allowed to add one additional flight per week on the route as a bonus, it said.
如果航空公司同一航線航班，入境后核酸檢測結果為陽性的旅客人數(shù)連續(xù)3周為零，則可增設航班每周1班。

But the airline will suspend the operation of the route for one week if five or more passengers test positive for the coronavirus. If the number exceeds 10, the airline will suspend flights on the route for four weeks, it said.
如果航空公司同一航線航班，入境后核酸檢測結果為陽性的旅客人數(shù)達到5個或以上，則暫停該公司該航線運行1周；超過10個的，暫停該公司該航線運行4周。

The Chinese military has decided to recruit more university students this year by streamlining recruitment procedures and offering more benefits, according to a new notice.
根據教育部、中央軍委國防動員部聯(lián)合下發(fā)的最新通知，我國軍隊決定簡化征兵程序、提供福利政策，以吸引更多大學生當兵入伍。

The document, jointly issued by the Ministry of Education and the Central Military Commission's National Defense Mobilization Department, said the move is intended to boost the modernization efforts of military personnel, enhance military units' combat capability and send more talented people to the armed forces.
此舉旨在推進軍事人員現(xiàn)代化、提升部隊戰(zhàn)斗力，為部隊輸送更多高素質兵員。

Furthermore, starting in 2021, a total of 8,000 retirees who were university students or graduates before joining the military will be given priority when they apply for postgraduate programs. Currently, 5,000 veterans can benefit from the measure each year.
此外，自2021年起，高校將優(yōu)先錄取參軍退役后申請碩士研究生的大學生或大學畢業(yè)生，人數(shù)由5000人擴大到8000人。

Starting in 2022, retirees with associate degrees will be eligible for exam-free admission to undergraduate courses, the notice said.
從2022年起，專科學歷學生參軍退役后，可免試入讀本科課程。

Other benefits include favorable employment policies for graduates who have served in the military and supportive measures for those who want to open their own business after leaving the service, it added.
其他福利還包括為參軍退役大學生士兵提供良好的就業(yè)政策，為退役大學生士兵創(chuàng)業(yè)提供幫扶措施。
