'葫蘆兄弟'郵票六一發(fā)行

China Post will release a set of special stamps based on a classic Chinese animation TV series on June 1 to celebrate Children's Day this year.
為慶祝今年的兒童節(jié)，中國(guó)郵政將于6月1日發(fā)行經(jīng)典國(guó)產(chǎn)電視動(dòng)畫系列片《葫蘆兄弟》特種郵票。

The set contains six stamps with different scenes from the original animation "Calabash Brothers", which is about seven brothers with super powers, born from gourds, each a different color of the rainbow.
郵票一套6枚，包含動(dòng)畫片中六個(gè)不同場(chǎng)景?！逗J兄弟》講述的是從彩虹七色葫蘆中誕生的具有神力的七兄弟的故事。

Produced by the Shanghai Animation Film Studio in 1986, it was extremely popular among children when it was broadcast, and has since become a Chinese cartoon classic.
《葫蘆兄弟》1986年由上海美術(shù)電影制片廠出品，一經(jīng)播出就受到廣大少年兒童的喜愛(ài)，是國(guó)產(chǎn)動(dòng)畫片的經(jīng)典之作。

The six stamps, all in the shape of calabash gourds, are decorated with lines in seven colors, in line with the theme of the stamps.
6枚郵票均采用七色線條構(gòu)成的葫蘆形狀作為畫面邊飾，與郵票主題相映成趣。

Printed by the Beijing Stamp Printing Factory, each set has a face value of 6.4 yuan. About 7.5 million sets will be released.
這套郵票由北京郵票廠印制，計(jì)劃發(fā)行約750萬(wàn)套，全套郵票面值為6.4元。

>Rowling unveils kids' book

The British author JK Rowling has delighted fans by unveiling a new book, her first children's story to stand apart from the fictional world of the wizard Harry Potter.
英國(guó)作家J·K·羅琳近日推出新書(shū)，令粉絲們欣喜不已，這是她第一本與巫師哈利·波特的虛構(gòu)世界無(wú)關(guān)的兒童故事。

And she is making the book, "The Ickabog", available in free daily online installments.
這本名為《The Ickabog》的童書(shū)每日在線免費(fèi)更新一章。

Rowling said in a lengthy Twitter announcement that she came up with the story more than 10 years ago for her own children.She said the story is not "intended to be read as a response to anything that's happening in the world right now".
羅琳在一則長(zhǎng)推文中說(shuō)，這個(gè)故事是自己在10多年前為自己的孩子構(gòu)想的，反映的并非都是當(dāng)下世界上所發(fā)生的事。

She said a paper version of the online book will be printed in November, complete with young readers' illustrations.

All proceeds will go to help people who have been "particularly impacted" by the novel coronavirus pandemic.

>Meng Wanzhou case continues
孟晚舟引渡案首次裁決

A Canadian judge ruled on Wednesday that the extradition case against China's Huawei Chief Financial Officer Meng Wanzhou can proceed.
5月27日，加拿大法官作出裁決，中國(guó)華為公司首席財(cái)務(wù)官孟晚舟引渡案將繼續(xù)審理。

According to the ruling, Meng’s case meets the Canadian extradition standard of the so-called "double criminality."
根據(jù)裁決，孟晚舟案符合加拿大所謂"雙重犯罪"的引渡標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。

Chinese Foreign Ministry Spokesperson Zhao Lijian on Tuesday urged Canada to immediately correct its mistake and release Meng.
中國(guó)外交部發(fā)言人趙立堅(jiān)5月26日敦促加拿大切實(shí)糾正錯(cuò)誤，釋放孟晚舟。

The US and Canada abused their bilateral extradition treaty and arbitrarily took compulsory measures against a Chinese citizen without cause, Zhao said. "This is a serious political incident that grossly violates the legitimate rights and interests of the Chinese citizen."
趙立堅(jiān)表示，美加兩國(guó)濫用其雙邊引渡條約，對(duì)中國(guó)公民任意采取強(qiáng)制措施，嚴(yán)重侵犯中國(guó)公民的合法權(quán)益，這是一起嚴(yán)重的政治事件。

The Chinese government is steadfast in safeguarding the legitimate rights and interests of Chinese citizens, Zhao said.
中國(guó)政府維護(hù)中國(guó)公民正當(dāng)合法權(quán)益的決心堅(jiān)定不移。

"The Canadian side should immediately correct its mistake, release Meng and ensure her safe return to China at an early date, so as to avoid any continuous harm to China-Canada relations."
加方應(yīng)當(dāng)切實(shí)糾正錯(cuò)誤，立即釋放孟晚舟，并確保她平安回到中國(guó)，以免中加關(guān)系持續(xù)受到損害。

Huawei Technologies Co expressed disappointment over the Canadian court's ruling, and the company said it will continue to stand with Meng in her pursuit of justice and freedom.
華為科技有限公司對(duì)加拿大法院的判決表示失望，該公司表示將繼續(xù)支持孟晚舟尋求公正判決和自由。

>Astronauts launch delayed

SpaceX, the private rocket company of billionaire entrepreneur Elon Musk, was forced by foul weather to scrub a planned launch on Wednesday of two Americans into orbit from Florida, a mission that would mark the first spaceflight of NASA astronauts from US soil in nine years.
