十三屆全國人大三次會議第二次全體會議于5月25日下午舉行，“代表通道”會前開啟。全國人大代表、西安交通大學校長王樹國說，兩年前，西安交通大學建設中國西部科技創(chuàng)新港，目前，一大批世界知名學術(shù)機構(gòu)紛紛落戶中國西部科技創(chuàng)新港，組建了一批國際聯(lián)合實驗室。

A number of well-known academic institutes have set up branch offices and joint international laboratories in the Western China Science And Technology Innovation Harbor since the area was established in Shaanxi province two years ago,Wang Shuguo, a deputy to the 13th National People's Congress, said on Monday.

5月25日，全國人大代表王樹國表示，兩年前我們就在陜西省創(chuàng)辦了中國西部科技創(chuàng)新港。目前，一大批世界知名學術(shù)機構(gòu)紛紛落戶中國西部科技創(chuàng)新港，組建了一批國際聯(lián)合實驗室。

In light of rapidly advancing science and technology in the world, people working in every discipline should ask themselves what changes have happened to their disciplines since the beginning of the fourth industrial revolution and whether their work ranks among the world's top five in the discipline,  Wang said.

王樹國表示，面對世界科技前沿，每個學科都要自問，在你這個學科，隨著第四次工業(yè)革命的到來，發(fā)生了哪些變化？世界上這個學科最好的“五個”是誰？有沒有你？

Wang said the staff members should also ask themselves whether their work in the discipline has met the country's needs and helped solve key problems, what place they hold in the industry they serve and whether there are any Chinese enterprises in the world's top five.

王樹國說，我們還要自問，面向國家重大需求，在你學科相關的領域，國家有哪些需要解決的關鍵技術(shù)問題？你組織參與了沒有？你所相關的行業(yè)領域，世界上最好的五個企業(yè)是誰？有沒有中國企業(yè)？

He added that asking these questions has provided a driving force for teachers and students at the university to work harder. Some science and technology experimental classes have been set up jointly by the university and some leading enterprises have laid a solid foundation for the students' future.

他說，我們這種倒逼計劃，極大地調(diào)動了師生員工的內(nèi)在動能。我們和若干龍頭企業(yè)聯(lián)合舉辦了“未來技術(shù)實驗班”，給孩子們對未來技術(shù)把握和未來成長歷程奠定了堅實的基礎。
