The Ministry of Public Security said Wednesday it was concerned about price hikes on safety helmets sold by some enterprises and e-commerce platforms for motorcycles and electric bikes.
公安部5月20日表示，正密切關(guān)注目前部分企業(yè)和電商平臺上摩托車和電動自行車頭盔漲價的問題。

The ministry said it has instructed public security organs nationwide to coordinate with market regulators to crack down on price gouging and other violations.
公安部表示，已指導(dǎo)各地公安機關(guān)積極配合市場監(jiān)管部門依法打擊哄抬價格等違法行為。

The move came after the ministry launched a campaign requiring motorcycle and electric bike riders to wear a safety helmet while motorists and passengers are compelled to wear seat belts.
近期，公安部開展的一項行動要求摩托車、電動自行車騎乘人員必須佩戴安全頭盔，機動車駕駛?cè)撕统丝蛣t必須系好安全帶。

Starting from June 1, riding motorcycles without a helmet and driving or riding in cars without wearing a seat belt will be punishable.
6月1日起，騎乘電動自行車不佩戴安全頭盔、駕駛和乘坐機動車不系安全帶的行為將受到處罰。

Sharp increases in helmet prices were reported in some e-commerce platforms as demand surged.
隨著需求上漲，一些電商平臺上的頭盔價格出現(xiàn)暴漲。

China's draft civil code will be submitted to the National People's Congress this week for final deliberation during the two sessions, the annual meetings of the NPC and the Chinese People's Political Consultative Conference.
本周，在全國兩會(全國人民代表大會和中國人民政治協(xié)商會議)期間，《民法典(草案)》將提請全國人大終審。

The draft, which consists of seven volumes, including general provisions and sections on property, contracts, personality rights, marriage and family, inheritance and torts.
《民法典(草案)》共7編，包括總則編、物權(quán)編、合同編、人格權(quán)編、婚姻家庭編、繼承編、侵權(quán)責(zé)任編。

The compilation of personality rights in a separate volume is a  major development and innovation in democratic legislation and the civil code. It will help deepen the legal protection of personal dignity and individual rights, said Shi Jiayou, professor at Renmin University of China and executive director of the National Research Center of Civil and Commercial Law.
中國人民大學(xué)民商事法律科學(xué)研究中心執(zhí)行主任石佳友表示，人格權(quán)獨立成編是民主立法和民法典的重大發(fā)展和創(chuàng)新，將有助于加強對人格尊嚴(yán)和個人權(quán)利的法律保護。

The personality rights section covers general provisions, as well as the rights to life, body, health, name, image, reputation and honor.
人格權(quán)編分為總則、生命權(quán)、身體權(quán)、健康權(quán)、姓名權(quán)、肖像權(quán)、名譽權(quán)、榮譽權(quán)等。
