>£9,999 in-time delivery charge
24-year-old Danielle Long from Northern Ireland was stunned when Amazon wanted to charge her £9,999 for delivery so she would get her £4.99 gift in time for Christmas.
The standard delivery charge on the Nifogo Bedside Pocket - a holder for phones and tablets that clips onto your bed - was just £2.99. However, that would not arrive until Jan 11 at the earliest.
Amazon offered her next day delivery, for £9,999. But that was still a risk because it would arrive between Christmas Eve and Dec 27.
Long posted the hiked charges on Facebook. She quipped: "That's a tough one. I wish it was a joke, really wanted it before Christmas."
She later added: "I was shocked, but I found it funny. I don't know why the postage was so high. But I think it's from a secondary seller through Amazon."

>Flights added for festival
Civil aviation authorities on the mainland and Taiwan agreed to add extra flights across the Taiwan Straits for Spring Festival to meet the demands of Taiwan residents on the mainland to return home during the holiday, the Civil Aviation Administration of China said on Tuesday.
Air regulators on the two sides came to an agreement that airlines on both sides could arrange additional Spring Festival flights across the Straits from Jan 11 to Feb 8 to meet the needs of cross-Straits travelers.
The total number of the additional flights is not unlimited, CAAC said in a statement.
Due to limits on availability of mainland airspace, the number of additional flights is capped at a few busy mainland airports. Airports in Beijing will not arrange additional flights, and the maximum number is 147 for airports in Shanghai, 9 for Guangzhou, 23 for Shenzhen, and 17 for Hangzhou, CAAC said.
Specific plans for extra flights will be approved by air regulators of the two sides before the last day of the year to facilitate passengers' booking and scheduling, according to the statement.
