在超市購(gòu)物時(shí)，我們都會(huì)特別留意一下食物的保質(zhì)期有多久，是否新鮮，以免買到過(guò)期的商品。

“保質(zhì)期[bǎo zhì qī]”指產(chǎn)品的最佳食用期，可以翻譯為“best-before date，shelf life，expiration date或freshness date”，表示“the length of time that a product, especially food, can be kept in a shop before it becomes too old to be sold or used”。

超出保質(zhì)期的食品即“過(guò)期食品”，可以翻譯為“expired food”。

xīn xiān shuǐ guǒ de bǎo zhì qī hěn duǎn
新鮮水果的保質(zhì)期很短。
Fresh fruit has a very short shelf life.

dàn shì guò qī de sū dǎ shuǐ pǎo qì，wèi dào yě huì dà dǎ zhé kòu
