In a congratulatory letter to the World Young Scientist Summit 2019, which opened Saturday in Wenzhou, Zhejiang province, President Xi Jinping said that in the flourishing, new sci-tech revolution and industrial transformation, it is the common aspiration of all countries to engage in sci-tech and cultural exchanges and promote cooperation on innovations among youthful researchers, in whose hands the future of science and technology lies.

2019世界青年科學(xué)家峰會(huì)由中國(guó)科學(xué)技術(shù)協(xié)會(huì)與浙江省人民政府共同舉辦，于10月26日至27日在浙江溫州舉行。峰會(huì)以“匯聚天下英才，共創(chuàng)美好未來(lái)”為主題，開(kāi)設(shè)了科學(xué)時(shí)刻、對(duì)話未來(lái)、擁抱科技、團(tuán)聚分享等四大板塊35項(xiàng)子活動(dòng)，主要有1場(chǎng)開(kāi)幕式、12項(xiàng)核心子活動(dòng)和22項(xiàng)延伸活動(dòng)。重點(diǎn)活動(dòng)有黨政領(lǐng)導(dǎo)與科學(xué)家高端對(duì)話、人才項(xiàng)目高端對(duì)接活動(dòng)、全球青年科技領(lǐng)袖圓桌會(huì)、中歐可持續(xù)發(fā)展未來(lái)社區(qū)建設(shè)合作研討會(huì)、5個(gè)青年π活動(dòng)和宣言發(fā)布會(huì)等?！?lái)自102個(gè)國(guó)家、地區(qū)和國(guó)際組織的代表參加了本次峰會(huì)，共有諾獎(jiǎng)得主4人、圖靈獎(jiǎng)得主1人，海外院士57人，國(guó)內(nèi)院士52人。
