昨天的外交部記者會(huì)上，外交部發(fā)言人華春瑩回應(yīng)外媒記者“美方稱中方經(jīng)常出爾反爾”的問題時(shí)，作出上述表態(tài)，刷遍輿論場。

“呵呵”這個(gè)詞什么意思，不必多說，中國網(wǎng)友會(huì)心一笑。那么“呵呵”該怎么用英語表達(dá)呢？今天，外交部發(fā)言人辦公室微信公眾號(hào)給出了答案。

7月31日的外交部記者會(huì)上，有記者問，美國總統(tǒng)特朗普稱，中方經(jīng)常出爾反爾。如果要等到明年大選他連任之后才簽訂協(xié)議，那一定會(huì)是一個(gè)更差的協(xié)議。中方對(duì)此有何評(píng)論？

比如華春瑩表示：事實(shí)上，（美國）自己生病，卻讓別人吃藥，也是沒有任何用的。這句話翻譯成英語是“In fact, it's useless to ask others to take pills when the US is ill itself. ”

我們注意到，此前，外交部的“神翻譯”也頗為有趣。

比如，2018年8月，華春瑩曾在記者會(huì)上表示：對(duì)于美方各種花式“甩鍋”，對(duì)不起，我們不想接，也不能接。官方翻譯為“The US wants to make China a scapegoat. But so sorry, we don't want to be one. And don't even think of making us one.”

再比如，發(fā)言人耿爽曾表示“中國不是嚇大的”，官方翻譯為“threats and intimidation will never work on China（威脅及恐嚇永遠(yuǎn)對(duì)中國起不了作用）”。

7月3日，耿爽火力全開，曾連用了10個(gè)成語硬剛英國外交大臣亨特的涉港言論。這些成語是這樣翻譯的——

A: On your first question, Taiwan is part of China, and cross-strait affairs are not diplomatic matters. I'd refer you to the Taiwan Affairs Office of the State Council.

關(guān)于第二個(gè)問題，我不知道你提到的是香港哪些人認(rèn)為我昨天的表態(tài)有雙重標(biāo)準(zhǔn)。我說的都是客觀的，是根據(jù)事情本身的是非曲直作出判斷和評(píng)價(jià)的。

On your second question, I don't know which people in Hong Kong think my comments yesterday are double standards. What I said is objective. I make judgments and comments based on facts.

因?yàn)槟阒?，中美?jīng)貿(mào)磋商一年多來，是誰出爾反爾、言而無信、反復(fù)無常，大家都有目共睹。而中方對(duì)于經(jīng)貿(mào)磋商的立場始終如一。雙方經(jīng)貿(mào)團(tuán)隊(duì)目前正在上海磋商，你剛才說到的最新情況，我還不掌握。在這個(gè)時(shí)候，美方放話試圖極限施壓是沒有意義的。事實(shí)上，自己生病，卻讓別人吃藥，也是沒有任何用的。我認(rèn)為，在經(jīng)貿(mào)磋商問題上，美方應(yīng)該更多地展現(xiàn)誠意和誠信。

We all know who has been flip-flopping in the trade talks over the past year or so. In contrast, China's position remains consistent. The Chinese and American negotiating teams are now in Shanghai for trade talks. I'm not aware of the latest information you mentioned. It just doesn't make any sense if the US tries to exert maximum pressure at this particular time. In fact, it's useless to ask others to take pills when the US is ill itself. I believe the US needs to show more sincerity and good faith on this issue.
