>Beijing bikini an eyesore
Beijing bikini is not something that belongs to Beijing alone.
Each summer, as Chinese cities swelter under the baking heat, middle-aged men across the country roll their T-shirts up above their bellies to cool down.
It's a style so ubiquitous that it's even earned a fond nickname: the "Beijing bikini."
Such men are called bang ye, which means "topless guy".
Jinan, Tianjin, and Shenyang, as well as a growing list of other cities are planning to crack down on "improper dressing in public places", which included "shirtlessness" and "wanton exposure of body parts", in order to enhance the cities' images.
Public bickering, jumping queues, littering, and "uncivilized dog walking" are also being targeted.
>Iceberg to be towed to UAE
The United Arab Emirates (UAE) is one of the most arid countries in the world and will face a severe shortage of water resources over the next 25 years.
Abdulla Alshehi, an inventor and entrepreneur from the UAE, made an ambitious plan to drag an iceberg to the UAE.
His staff will select the iceberg for use from Heard Island, near Antarctica, via satellite, before using a boat to drag it to the Fujairah coast.
Upon arrival at a specially constructed processing facility, workers will "mine" the iceberg for their water supplies.
Blocks of ice will be chipped off and placed in giant tanks, before being filtered and processed.
It is expected to lose around 30% of its mass during its 10-month journey and the final project will cost between $100 million and $150 million.
>Envoy mocked over photo
A bungled attempt to alter a photo of Israel's ambassador to Brazil apparently enjoying a lobster lunch with Brazilian President Jair Bolsonaro has been ridiculed on social media, where users accused the embassy of censoring the non-kosher shellfish.
The photo of Yossi Shelley and Bolsonaro was taken Sunday and posted on the embassy's official Twitter account.
It shows the contents of their plates inexpertly were scribbled out in black, but the ends of what appear to be lobster shells are still visible.
The photo was liked nearly 2,700 times on the social media network and drew a thousand comments.
"That's some really lazy photoshopping of the lobster," said an internet user.
Some other netizens shared their digitally-manipulated versions of the photo.
According to Jewish kosher dietary rules, fish with fins and scales are allowed to be eaten, but shellfish and pork are forbidden.
