Chinese singer Zeng Yike apologized on Wednesday for her "inappropriate words and behavior" online after crossing swords with Beijing's border inspection authority.

在與北京邊檢民警發(fā)生爭執(zhí)之后，中國歌手曾軼可19日在網(wǎng)上道歉，承認(rèn)自己言行失當(dāng)。

Posts by Zeng on Sina Weibo on Monday accused the border police at the Beijing Capital International Airport of treating her unfairly. She even exposed the police officer's card information online with nine pictures.

17日，曾軼可在新浪微博上發(fā)貼，稱自己遭到北京首都國際機場邊檢民警的不公正對待，還用9張圖曝光了邊檢民警的工作證信息。

According to the Beijing General Station of Exit and Entry Frontier Inspection, Zeng ignored police requests several times for facial checks with her hat off and later cursed the staff.

根據(jù)北京出入境邊防檢查總站的通報，曾軼可多次無視民警讓其脫帽進行面相對比的要求，之后還對民警爆粗口。

She was then guided to leave the lane for further inspection. During the process, Zeng was reluctant to cooperate with the border check and even photographed the police twice at a close range.

隨后，民警將其帶離通道，做進一步處理。期間，曾軼可不服從檢查，兩次近距離對民警拍照。

The notice also listed two border control regulations, indicating Zeng's behavior broke the rules.

通報還列出《中華人民共和國出境入境管理法》中的兩條規(guī)定，指出曾的行為已違法。

Performances by Zeng have been canceled following the controversy.

大鬧邊檢的事情發(fā)生后，曾軼可的多個演出已被叫停。

A politician in northwestern Pakistan was given paws for thought after his press conference was streamed live on Facebook with the "cat filter" turned on, giving him on-screen whiskers and ears.

巴基斯坦西北部的一名政界人士在臉書上直播新聞發(fā)布會時，因貓咪濾鏡被打開，導(dǎo)致他在屏幕上"長出了"胡子和貓耳朵，引來熱議。

There's "a cat in the cabinet" one said. Others were more literal: "Shaukat Yousafzai looks like a cat - Meow meow meow".

一名網(wǎng)友說："碗櫥里有一只貓。"(原短語是a skeleton in the cabinet，意為"不為人知的家丑")其他網(wǎng)友則更直白："肖卡特·尤薩夫扎伊看起來像一只貓——喵喵喵"。

The video was deleted minutes after the press conference from the official Facebook page of Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf (PTI) party.

這段視頻在新聞發(fā)布會開完幾分鐘后就從巴基斯坦正義運動黨的臉書官方頁面上被刪除。

Yousafzai confirmed the incident and said it happened by accident. "I wasn't the only one - two officials sitting along me were also hit by the cat filter," he joked.

尤薩夫扎伊證實了這一事件，并表示這是個意外。他笑稱："我不是唯一一個變成'貓臉'的人，坐在我旁邊的兩名官員也被貓咪濾鏡擊中了。"

A press statement, issued by the PTI social media team said the incident happened because of "human error". "All necessary actions have been taken to avoid such incidents in future," it said.

A total of 12 Chinese academic institutions have been included in the global top 100 of the sixteenth edition of the QS World University Rankings, released on Wednesday by London-based higher education analysts Quacquarelli Symonds (QS). Six of the universities are from the Chinese mainland.

19日，位于倫敦的高等教育分析機構(gòu)QS發(fā)布第16版"QS世界大學(xué)排行榜"，共有12所中國高校躋身QS世界百強榜，其中包括6所中國內(nèi)地大學(xué)。

Tsinghua University is China's highest-ranked university in the list, rising to 16th from last year's 17th.

清華大學(xué)是榜單上排名最高的中國大學(xué)，位列第16位，較去年上升一位。

Peking University rose eight places to reach 22nd place globally.

北京大學(xué)的世界排名上升了8位，至第22位。

Both universities have achieved their best rankings since the list was first published in 2004.

清華和北大都取得了自2004年首次發(fā)布該榜以來的最高名次。

Globally, Massachusetts Institute of Technology was named the world's leading university for a record-breaking eighth consecutive year in the rankings, while Asia's top universities are the Nanyang Technological University and the National University of Singapore, both in 11th place.
全球方面，麻省理工學(xué)院連續(xù)第八年蟬聯(lián)榜首，創(chuàng)下歷史紀(jì)錄。亞洲排名最高的大學(xué)為南洋理工大學(xué)和新加坡國立大學(xué)，并列世界第11位。

Amazon unveiled a new secured credit card with Synchrony Bank, aimed at customers with bad or no credit history.

近日，亞馬遜和同步銀行針對信用記錄不良或無信用記錄的用戶推出一款新型有擔(dān)保的信用卡。

"There's always going to be people that we can't give credit to - this is a large population that we weren't able to reach," said Tom Quindlen, Synchrony executive vice president and CEO of the bank's retail card operation. "It's a new segment of the market.
