French first lady Brigitte Macron is set to return to the classroom in a new adult training college for school drop-outs.

Macron, a French and drama teacher until 2015, has accepted a supervisory and teaching role for a new school in a suburb of Paris and another in a rural area of southeast France.

On Monday, Brigitte visited the first of the schools and said the school aimed to give its students, who will be paid 1,000 euros a month, "the foundations to be able to enter the workplace".

Alabama Governor Kay Ivey signed a controversial bill that bans nearly all abortions into law Wednesday evening. It's considered the most restrictive abortion law in the US.

>China to host 2023 Asian Cup

South Korea has withdrawn its bid to host the 2023 Asian Football Confederation (AFC) Asian Cup, giving China a free run to stage the quadrennial competition.
由于韓國放棄申辦2023年亞足聯(lián)亞洲杯，中國獲得這一賽事的主辦權(quán)基本已成定局。

"The Korea Football Association (KFA) decided to drop the Asian Cup bid to strategically focus on the hosting of the 2023 FIFA Women's World Cup," KFA secretary general said in a statement.
韓國足球協(xié)會(huì)秘書長在一份聲明中表示："韓國足協(xié)決定放棄申辦亞洲杯，將戰(zhàn)略重點(diǎn)放在主辦2023年女足世界杯上。"

With Indonesia and Thailand having previously withdrawn their hosting bids, it appears likely that the 2023 Asian Cup will be held in China, the only country still in the running to stage the tournament. The host nation for the 2023 Asian Cup will officially be announced on June 4.
此前，印度尼西亞和泰國也相繼退出了對(duì)2023年亞洲杯的申辦，目前這一賽事的申辦國只剩下中國，因此落戶中國幾無懸念。2023年亞洲杯主辦國將于6月4日正式公布。
