維密時裝秀今年將停辦

The Victoria's Secret Fashion Show, an annual spectacular female lingerie show, will no longer be available on network television starting from this year, ending a nearly two-decade run.
自今年起，一年一度的女士內(nèi)衣秀大賞——"維多利亞的秘密時裝秀"將不再在網(wǎng)絡(luò)電視上播出，舉辦了近20年的維密秀將停辦。

The decision was revealed in a memo sent to employees by Leslie Wexner, CEO of L Brands, Victoria's Secret's parent company, as he said network TV is not the "right fit" for the fashion show. The chief executive said his company will develop a new kind of event in 2019 and in the following years to replace the Victoria's Secret Fashion Show.
維密母公司L Brands集團首席執(zhí)行官萊斯利?維克斯納在向員工發(fā)布的公司備忘錄中透露了這一決定。維克斯納表示，網(wǎng)絡(luò)電視已經(jīng)不再適合時裝秀，今明兩年公司將創(chuàng)造一種新的活動形式來替代維密時裝秀。

The news comes after the lingerie retailer had a record low 3.3 million viewership last year, down from 9.7 million viewers in 2013.
去年維密秀收視人數(shù)為330萬，創(chuàng)歷史新低，較2013年的970萬下降明顯。

Millions of A$50 banknotes in Australia have an embarrassing typographical error that was overlooked by the country's central bank before they were printed and circulated.
由于澳大利亞央行在紙幣印刷和流通前的疏忽，數(shù)千萬張面值50澳元(約合238元人民幣)的紙幣上出現(xiàn)了一個令人尷尬的印刷錯誤。

The goof first became known when a listener on radio outlet Triple M sent the station a magnified photo of the Reserve Bank of Australia's (RBA) new A$50 note highlighting the word "responsibility" misspelt as "responsibilty" three times.
電臺節(jié)目《三倍M》的一位聽眾首先發(fā)現(xiàn)這個錯誤后，向電臺發(fā)送了一張新版50澳元紙幣放大照。照片顯示，英文單詞responsibility(責(zé)任)被拼成了responsibilty，且錯誤出現(xiàn)了三次。

But the RBA has no intention of withdrawing or recalling the notes from circulation. The error will be corrected in the next print run, it said.

Shenzhen education authorities announced they would disqualify 32 students for taking this year's National College Entrance Exam in the city after they were found to be "gaokao immigrants".
深圳市教育局12日在其官網(wǎng)發(fā)布通報，宣布取消32名"高考移民"在深圳市的高考報名資格。

According to a notice published on the official website of Shenzhen's education bureau on Sunday, 32 students from Shenzhen Fuyuan School used dishonest means to gain qualification for taking the college entrance exam in South China's Guangdong province in the coming June.
通報稱，經(jīng)查深圳市富源學(xué)校32名考生弄虛作假獲取了2019年廣東省高考報考資格。

Authorities will revoke their qualification to participate in the exam. Shenzhen Fuyuan School is also required to severely punish those responsible and will have its high school enrollment quota cut by half in 2019.
對上述考生，取消其在深圳市的高考報名資格，責(zé)成深圳市富源學(xué)校對責(zé)任人進行嚴(yán)肅處理，核減該校2019年高中招生計劃的50%。

Shenzhen Fuyuan School, a private school established in 1999, raised many eyebrows after its third-grade students performed extraordinarily well at a mock gaokao. Among the top 10 students in the mock exam, six came from Shenzhen Fuyuan School.
深圳市富源學(xué)校是一所成立于1999年的民辦學(xué)校，在深圳市高三學(xué)生的一次?？贾?，該校成績異常出色，全市排名前10的學(xué)生里富源學(xué)校占了6名。

Some parents suspected that gaokao immigrants might be involved.

Beijing's new airport saw four passenger planes completing test flights Monday morning.
13日上午，北京大興國際機場迎來真機試飛，4架客機全部成功落地。

Air China, China Eastern Airlines and China Southern Airlines respectively dispatched flagship models Boeing 747-8, Airbus 350-900 and A380. Meanwhile, Xiamen Airlines sent a Boeing 787-9 to take part in the test flights.
國航、東航、南航分別安排各自旗艦機型波音B747-8、空客A350-900、以及空客A380試飛新機場，廈航也派出一架波音B787-9參加試飛。

The planes landed smoothly at Beijing Daxing International Airport.

The new airport, located at the junction of Beijing's Daxing district and Langfang, a city in neighboring Hebei province, is expected to handle 45 million passengers annually by 2021 and 72 million by 2025.
