4. 喜劇演員、醫(yī)學(xué)博士肯?鄭（Ken Jeong）

韓裔美籍演員肯?鄭憑借著在《宿醉》系列電影中的精彩表演給觀眾留下深刻的印象。而在當(dāng)演員之前他一直是加州的執(zhí)業(yè)醫(yī)師，擁有醫(yī)學(xué)博士學(xué)位。

He's best known for his role as the gangster Leslie Chow in the Hangover trilogy, but Ken has a very successful career to fall back on if he wants to turn his back on acting.

In 1990, he graduated from Duke University and went on to the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill, where he graduated in 1995 as a medical doctor. He practiced medicine for a number of years and is a licensed physician in California.

Jeong picked up the acting bug while he was still doing his undergraduate degree at Duke.“I was just hooked,”says Jeong.“I just had to perform in some capacity. And while I did love medicine…acting, that was my destiny.”

A gifted student, he was on the High IQ team at his school, where he also played violin in the orchestra and graduated at 16 with a Youth Of The Year Award.

When Jeong was 36, his wife provided the encouragement and support he needed to quit his job as a doctor and take up acting full time. Jeong says he wouldn’t have been brave enough to make the switch without her encouragement. “Medicine is a hard-won skill, and acting can be a fickle profession, so I tried to be realistic,” he says.
