Britain's Prince Philip has been spotted driving without a seat belt just 48 hours after a car crash in which the 97-year-old's Land Rover flipped onto its side. The photographs showed the Duke of Edinburgh driving a new Land Rover near Queen Elizabeth II's Sandringham Estate in Norfolk, eastern England. He wore dark glasses and no seat belt, which is required on a public road. A Norfolk Constabulary spokeswoman said police were aware of the photos and "suitable words of advice have been given to the driver." The Queen's husband was involved in a car crash on Thursday near Sandringham but had no injuries of concern. The car Prince Philip collided with had two women and a 10-month-old baby in it. Police said the crash left the women with minor injuries and the baby boy was unharmed.

Chinese tennis legend Li Na will be inducted into the International Tennis Hall of Fame. Li is the first Asian player to receive the sport’s ultimate honor. She was joined by Mary Pierce and Yevgeny Kafelnikov for the hall's Class of 2019, which was announced Monday at the Australian Open. Li retired in 2014 because of recurring knee injuries, eight months after winning that year's Australian Open and rising to a career-high second in the WTA ranking. Her first Grand Slam trophy came at the 2011 French Open, where she defeated four top-10 opponents along the way. The formal induction ceremony will be held July 20 in Rhode Island.

>'Upskirting' to be criminalized

"Upskirting" — the practice of filming up someone's clothing without their permission — is on its way to becoming a crime in England and Wales, after the House of Lords passed legislation that will see offenders face up to two years in jail. Gina Martin, who started an online campaign to outlaw upskirting in 2017, said in a statement posted to Twitter she was "over the moon" that the bill had passed. Scotland has had its own law on upskirting for almost a decade, while several US and Australian states have legislated against the behavior. It is illegal in New Zealand and India.

Researchers at the University of South Australia claim to have discovered clay material in a certain type of dirt, which if consumed with an evening meal can help soak up fat droplets from the gut. Researchers led by Ph.D. candidate Tahnee Dening were investigating how clay materials can improve drug delivery when they discovered one of the materials she was testing had the remarkable ability to soak up fat droplets in the gut. The serendipitous discovery immediately signaled to Denning that they were on to something big, maybe even a cure for obesity. In their research, scientists looked at the effects of montmorillonite, a natural clay material, purified from dirt and laponite. Researchers are now working on a synergistic approach, making the drug inhibit the enzyme that digests fat molecules, and the clay trap the fat so it is excreted.
