'一人食'漸成餐飲新趨勢
A recent report by market research group Kantar found eating alone is becoming increasingly common in China. Some 46% of the interviewees said they had eaten alone in the past 24 hours, up 9% from 2017. Around 16% of respondents said they preferred to eat alone. One reason for eating alone could be the rise of the single person Chinese household. According to the Ministry of Civil Affairs, marriage registrations have dropped in China every year since 2014, while the divorce rate has risen for 16 straight years. Another reason for eating alone is time - or the lack of it. Commuters, strapped for time, often grab breakfast on the go at food outlets near subway and bus stations. And more people are having their lunch delivered from one of the many food delivery firms and choosing to eat it at their desks. Eat Solo is an online video channel with more than 1.5 million followers. 中國物理學(xué)家曹原上榜
Cao Yuan, a 22-year-old doctoral candidate in physics at the Massachusetts Institute of Technology, was named one of the 10 people who mattered this year by the journal Nature for discovering a "magic angle" in graphene sheets that spurred a new field of superconductor physics. In March, Cao surprised the nanoscience community by discovering graphene can potentially be an insulatoror or a superconductor by slightly changing the alignment of two graphene layers sandwiched together. In past experiments, graphene needed to be in contact with other superconductors to inherit some superconducting behaviors. But Cao's discovery shows that superconductivity might be an intrinsic quality of the purely carbon-based material, taking a huge step in the decades-long search for superconductors with a simpler makeup. The physics prodigy from Chengdu, Sichuan province, is the third Chinese scientist in five years to make Nature's list for pushing scientific development. Pan Jianwei, a world-leading quantum scientist, and Chen Hualan, an expert on bird flu, made the list in 2017 and 2013, respectively.

>New Fuxing bullet trains
'復(fù)興號'家族再添新成員
Three new types of domestically developed Fuxing trains designed with varying top speeds made their debut on Monday, which experts said will offer more choices to potential overseas customers. A whole series of Fuxing trains were rolled out at the China National Railway Test Center in Beijing, including new versions - a longer train and two lower-speed versions. The longer Fuxing trains, which are 440 meters long and can seat 1,283 passengers, are the longest high-speed trains in China, with a maximum speed of 350 kilometers per hour. Two other Fuxing trains are expected to run at maximum speeds of 250 km/h and 160 km/h.
24日，我國自主研發(fā)的"復(fù)興號"動車組的三款擁有不同設(shè)計(jì)最高時(shí)速的新車型首次亮相，專家稱，"復(fù)興號"新車型將為潛在海外客戶提供更多選擇。近日，"復(fù)興號"家族全系列車型在北京國家鐵道試驗(yàn)中心展出，其中包括三款新車型：一款超長版列車以及兩款設(shè)計(jì)時(shí)速較低的列車。超長版"復(fù)興號"動車組車型全長440米，載客定員1283人，最高時(shí)速350公里，是我國最長的高鐵動車組車型；另外兩款"復(fù)興號"動車組車型的設(shè)計(jì)最高時(shí)速分別為250公里和160公里。
