8月6日，杭州2022年第19屆亞運(yùn)會(huì)會(huì)徽（the emblem for the 19th Asian Games Hangzhou 2022）“潮涌”正式發(fā)布。

Called "Surging Tides", the emblem consists of six elements: a Chinese fan, the Qiantang River, a tidal bore, a running track, the Internet icon and the glowing red sun of the Olympic Council of Asia (OCA). Below the motif is the lettering denoting the Host City and the year of the Asian Games.
“潮涌”的主體圖形由扇面、錢塘江、錢江潮頭、賽道、互聯(lián)網(wǎng)符號(hào)及象征亞奧理事會(huì)的太陽(yáng)圖形六個(gè)元素組成。下方是主辦城市名稱與舉辦年份的印鑒。

據(jù)杭州亞組委方面介紹，扇面造型反映江南人文意蘊(yùn)（the cultural heritage unique to the southern regions of the Yangtze River），賽道代表體育競(jìng)技（sports competitions），互聯(lián)網(wǎng)符號(hào)契合杭州城市特色，太陽(yáng)圖形是亞奧理事會(huì)的象征符號(hào)。

錢塘江和錢江潮頭是會(huì)徽的形象核心（the core elements of the Emblem），綠水青山展示了浙江杭州山水城市（a city of natural landscapes）的自然特質(zhì)，江潮奔涌表達(dá)了浙江兒女勇立潮頭的精神氣質(zhì)。

整個(gè)會(huì)徽形象象征著新時(shí)代中國(guó)特色社會(huì)主義大潮的涌動(dòng)和發(fā)展（the great cause of socialism with Chinese characteristics in the new era is gathering greater momentum），也象征亞奧理事會(huì)大家庭團(tuán)結(jié)攜手，緊密相擁，永遠(yuǎn)向前（the unity of the OCA Family, marching forward hand in hand）。

杭州亞組委副主席兼秘書(shū)長(zhǎng)、杭州市市長(zhǎng)徐立毅表示：

The emblem embodies the character of our times and the Olympic Spirit. Original and highly recognizable, the emblem also underscores the host city's profound heritage and singularity, expressing people's aspirations for staging a successful Asian Games and building a community of a shared future for Asia and mankind.
杭州亞運(yùn)會(huì)會(huì)徽設(shè)計(jì)富有時(shí)代氣息，符合奧林匹克精神，彰顯主辦城市杭州的人文底蘊(yùn)和城市特質(zhì)，具有鮮明的形象識(shí)別度和原創(chuàng)性，充分表達(dá)了廣大民眾對(duì)亞運(yùn)盛會(huì)的熱切期待，對(duì)構(gòu)建亞洲和人類命運(yùn)共同體的美好愿望。

據(jù)了解，今年1月，杭州亞組委面向海內(nèi)外征集杭州2022年亞運(yùn)會(huì)會(huì)徽設(shè)計(jì)方案（a global call for the emblem design），共收到應(yīng)征作品4263件。

通過(guò)專家組多輪評(píng)審論證（multiple rounds of expert reviews），以及一系列嚴(yán)密的工作程序，最終中國(guó)美術(shù)學(xué)院教授袁由敏的設(shè)計(jì)作品“潮涌”脫穎而出，被確定為會(huì)徽設(shè)計(jì)方案，并得到中國(guó)奧委會(huì)和亞奧理事會(huì)同意和允準(zhǔn)（selected and approved by the Chinese Olympic Committee and the OCA）。
