日本一小學(xué)定制阿瑪尼校服遭投訴 校方:能彰顯地位

對普通人而言,很難把校服和奢侈品聯(lián)系在一起,不過位于日本東京的一所公立小學(xué)決定,從今春起采用意大利高檔品牌“阿瑪尼”設(shè)計的校服。加上帽子和包等,一整套近5000元。該學(xué)校已收到家長稱“負(fù)擔(dān)過重”的投訴,此舉甚至在國會引起討論。
A public elementary school in Japan is facing criticism over its plan to adopt uniforms designed by Italian luxury label Giorgio Armani.
日本一所公立小學(xué)因打算采用意大利奢侈品牌喬治阿瑪尼設(shè)計的校服而飽受指責(zé)。
According to local media reports, the school in Tokyo wants to introduce uniforms that cost more than 80,000 yen each.
據(jù)當(dāng)?shù)孛襟w報道,這所位于東京的學(xué)校希望采用售價超過8萬日元(約合人民幣4600元)的校服。
Parents complained it was unaffordable and the plan was even brought up in parliament.

The school is located in the upscale Ginza district.

The Taimei Elementary School sent a letter to parents last November in which the principal explained that the school was changing its uniform to better reflect its status as a "landmark" in Ginza, according to the Huffington Post Japan.
據(jù)《赫芬頓郵報》日本版報道,去年11月,泰明小學(xué)給學(xué)生家長們寄了一封信,校長在信中解釋稱,為了更好地體現(xiàn)學(xué)校作為銀座“地標(biāo)”的地位,校方準(zhǔn)備更換校服。

The move triggered five cases of complaints from parents.
此舉遭到來自家長的5起投訴。
"I was surprised and wondered why such luxury uniforms have been picked for a public elementary school," a unnamed mother told the Huffington Post.
一位不愿透露姓名的母親告訴《赫芬頓郵報》:“我很詫異,也很好奇,為什么一所公立小學(xué)要挑選如此奢侈的校服。”
Although school uniforms are not strictly compulsory in public schools in Japan, most students choose to wear them.
雖然日本公立學(xué)校在校服問題上并沒有嚴(yán)格強(qiáng)制規(guī)定,但大多數(shù)學(xué)生還是選擇穿校服。
Online, people were equally critical of the news.
網(wǎng)友同樣不贊同這則新聞中的做法。
"I heard that school uniforms were originally invented so kids from different income families wouldn't face discrimination," one person pointed out on Twitter.
一位網(wǎng)友在推特上寫道:“我聽說,最初發(fā)明校服,就是為了讓來自不同收入的家庭的孩子免受歧視。”
"Children are not aware of famous brands... Are you saying a child wearing Armani will be better developed than a child who doesn't wear it?" another user asked.
另一位網(wǎng)友稱:“孩子們不認(rèn)識名牌……你是說一個穿阿瑪尼的孩子比不穿它的孩子會發(fā)展的更好嗎?”
At a meeting of the House of Representatives' Budget Committee on Thursday, the issue was brought up by a lawmaker who said the school had to consider the cost to parents.
8日,一名議員在日本眾院預(yù)算委員會會議上提到了這個問題,他表示,學(xué)校必須考慮家長要承擔(dān)的費(fèi)用。
In response to the issue, Finance Minister Taro Aso said the uniform was "clearly expensive", and raised concerns that students could not afford it.
針對該問題,日本財政部長麻生太郎認(rèn)為,校服“顯然很貴”,人們擔(dān)心學(xué)生們負(fù)擔(dān)不起。
8日,教育部門召開記者會,宣布要對此事展開調(diào)查并要求校方說明。據(jù)悉,該校校長已表示,“將虛心接受有關(guān)‘沒有進(jìn)行充分說明’的批評,并將認(rèn)真進(jìn)行說明”。
據(jù)泰明小學(xué)網(wǎng)頁介紹,該校于1878年創(chuàng)立,至今已有140年歷史。據(jù)報道,該小學(xué)位于銀座昂貴地段,是該地區(qū)唯一保留的學(xué)府,雖然是一所公立學(xué)校,但在日本人眼里卻是一所“貴族學(xué)?!?。據(jù)稱,日本作家島崎藤村等曾在此就讀。
