女性閨蜜之間一起搭伴逛街吃飯,男性朋友之前也經(jīng)常約著一起酒吧燒烤。兩個(gè)男性一起共度休閑時(shí)光的社交行為就被稱為“男男約會(huì)”。
Man date is a neologism of the 2000s that is used to describe a social situation where two men spend time together one-on-one.
“男男約會(huì)”是本世紀(jì)出現(xiàn)的一個(gè)新詞,用來描述兩名男性共度時(shí)光的社交行為。
"Man date" refers to a platonic social encounter, not sexual implied or actual.
“男男約會(huì)”指的是柏拉圖式的會(huì)面,不包含性暗示或者現(xiàn)實(shí)的性行為。
As The New York Times article defined:
《紐約時(shí)報(bào)》曾這樣定義“男男約會(huì)”:
A man date is two heterosexual men socializing without the crutch of business or sports.

Along with metrosexual and bromance, the term is part of a growing set of neologisms that address modern-day masculinity.
