中國足球隊2比0戰(zhàn)勝卡塔爾隊（卡塔爾隊此前七戰(zhàn)全勝，C組頭名），由于菲律賓隊爆冷3比2擊敗朝鮮隊，中國隊成功出線。

在2018世界杯亞洲區(qū)預(yù)選賽小組賽最后一輪（Asia's final qualifying round of 2018 World Cup），國足（national football squad/team）2比0戰(zhàn)勝卡塔爾隊，成功從小組中出線（reach the next phase）。從小組中出線還可以用英文cruise into the next round/advance from the group表示。

和之前的五場比賽相比，教練高洪波在首發(fā)陣容（starting line-up）上做了調(diào)整。第58分鐘，國足黃博文先開記錄（open the scoring），取得進(jìn)球。第88分鐘，國足反擊鎖定勝局。

此次國足拿到出線資格（finals berth），加入已出線球隊（qualifier）的大軍，這是繼2002年之后，時隔15年，中國足球再次回到了亞洲12強(qiáng)賽的舞臺。也讓球迷對中國足球信心倍增。
