激烈競(jìng)爭(zhēng)中,敵人也能變盟友 <img src="/data/attachement/jpg/site1/20160229/00221910993f183dde9b0d.jpg" border="0" />

The phrase "strange bedfellows" means two people (or groups) of totally different qualities and principles working closely together, which is odd (strange) to see.
We often hear “politicians make strange bedfellows.” That means politicians will do anything to succeed, ready to try all means and measures, fair or foul, including working with their hateful political enemies if they have something to gain from such an alliance.
Misery acquaints a man with strange bedfellows(苦難使人結(jié)識(shí)一些奇怪的伙伴)。
The two thieves really are strange bedfellows, sharing the same job but totally suspicious of each other.
