這兩天微博和朋友圈都在瘋傳幾張圖表，上面列出了1980年以后出生的人在不同的年齡階段應(yīng)有的存款數(shù)量，以及應(yīng)該經(jīng)歷的人生階段，比如，戀愛(ài)，結(jié)婚，懷孕等。但事實(shí)上，隨著社會(huì)的發(fā)展，傳統(tǒng)意義上某個(gè)年齡段應(yīng)該做的事情，可能現(xiàn)代社會(huì)的年輕人都沒(méi)有在做。有些是因?yàn)榻?jīng)濟(jì)原因，有些則是個(gè)人選擇了不同的生活方式。

Generation pause refers to young adults who are not able to do things previously typical for their age group such as buy a home, start a family and have kids because they are short of money.
“暫停的一代”指到了一定年紀(jì)，卻因?yàn)闆](méi)有錢(qián)而無(wú)法像前輩人那樣買(mǎi)房、結(jié)婚生子的年輕人群體。

The research, conducted by Research Plus, found that:

Of those aged 25 to 34 years old…

-One in five are postponing their marriage plans for more than two years

-One in 10 say they could never afford to marry

25到34歲的年輕人當(dāng)中：

十分之一表示他們可能永遠(yuǎn)都結(jié)不起婚

Of those aged 35 to 44 years old..

-One in seven had or would put off starting a family for at least four years

-One in four delayed starting a family for two years because of lack of savings

-One in 12 think they’ll never be able to afford children

35到44歲的年輕人當(dāng)中：

-七分之一已經(jīng)或者打算將成家的時(shí)間推遲至少4年

-四分之一曾經(jīng)因?yàn)榇娴腻X(qián)不夠而推遲兩年結(jié)婚

-十二分之一認(rèn)為他們可能永遠(yuǎn)都養(yǎng)不起孩子

For example:

A new study released last week revealed a quarter of Brits believe they’ll never own a property, leading them to be dubbed ‘generation pause’ – an entire generation trapped in a kidult lifestyle not being able to afford to do the ‘grown-up’ stuff, like buying property, getting married and having kids.
