在超市買完東西排隊結(jié)賬,可是前面的顧客一個個都不讓人省心,不是買的東西忘了稱重,就是有的商品無法掃碼,這讓排在后面而且還趕時間的人難免上火。
You're in a hurry, waiting in line to checkout and something happens to slow the line down. The customer in front of you has brought 20 items to a 12 item express lane, a price check is needed and no one is around to do it, the computer system goes down, etc. It's enough to make your blood boil.
你在趕時間,排著隊等結(jié)賬,可前面出了狀況,讓等待的隊伍前行緩慢。排在你前面的顧客買了20樣?xùn)|西,卻排在12件以下快速結(jié)賬的隊伍里;有件商品的價格需要確認,卻沒有人理會;或者結(jié)賬的電腦突然壞了。這樣的各種狀況都有可能讓排隊的你怒氣上涌。
Here comes the checkout rage or checkout line rage, which refers to extreme anger caused by a perceived wrongdoing or a lengthy wait in the supermarket checkout line.
這就是我們所說的“收銀臺怒”或者“收銀臺排隊怒”,其實就是在超市收銀臺前排隊結(jié)賬時等待時間太長,或者因為發(fā)生了別的狀況而感到異常惱怒的狀態(tài)。
