雙方結(jié)婚前簽訂婚前協(xié)議，約定關(guān)系破裂時的財產(chǎn)分配的事宜，這個已經(jīng)不是什么新鮮事了。不過，隨著養(yǎng)寵物的家庭越來越多，離婚時寵物該歸誰也成了一個問題。于是，國外不少夫妻在簽訂財產(chǎn)類婚前協(xié)議的同時，還會簽訂一份婚前寵物協(xié)議。問題是，寵物自己難道沒有選擇權(quán)嗎？

于是，就有了婚前寵物協(xié)議，即約定分手時雙方寵物或者寵物狗歸屬的婚前協(xié)議。

The general term pet nup dates to mid-2011. The feline variation cat nup is surprisingly rare, probably because, in the event of a divorce, it's the cat that decides who gets custody.
Pet nup這個說法最早見于2011年中期。專用于寵物貓的說法cat nup竟然很少被用到，估計是因為主人分手時決定貓咪歸屬的不是主人，而是貓咪自己吧。
