會(huì)獎(jiǎng)旅游發(fā)展已經(jīng)成為推動(dòng)北京快速邁向國(guó)際交往中心的重要途徑。國(guó)際大會(huì)與會(huì)議協(xié)會(huì)今年5月發(fā)布數(shù)據(jù)顯示，北京以舉辦104場(chǎng)國(guó)際會(huì)議位列全球城市第14名，亞洲第二，中國(guó)第一。

Beijing will focus on developing meeting, incentive, conference and exhibition (MICE) tours as well as those offering traditional Chinese medicine experiences, according to the Beijing High-End Tourism and Meetings Industry Alliance.
北京高端旅游與會(huì)議產(chǎn)業(yè)聯(lián)盟最近表示，北京將重點(diǎn)發(fā)展會(huì)獎(jiǎng)旅游和中醫(yī)養(yǎng)生旅游產(chǎn)品。

MICE由Meeting（會(huì)議）、Incentives（獎(jiǎng)勵(lì)旅游）、Conference/Conventions（大型企業(yè)會(huì)議）、Exhibitions/Exposition（活動(dòng)展覽）的首字母大寫(xiě)組成，簡(jiǎn)稱為“會(huì)獎(jiǎng)”或“會(huì)展”，而借助這些活動(dòng)展開(kāi)的旅游活動(dòng)就叫MICE tourism（會(huì)展/會(huì)獎(jiǎng)旅游），是商務(wù)旅游（business tourism）的一種形式。

其他常見(jiàn)的旅游形式還有：醫(yī)療旅游（medical tourism）、文化旅游（cultural tourism）、生態(tài)旅游（ecotourism）、太空旅游（space tourism）等。

北京市旅游發(fā)展委員會(huì)副主任王粵表示，首都獨(dú)特的資源和特殊的地位賦予了其承接國(guó)際會(huì)議的諸多可能性，會(huì)獎(jiǎng)旅游發(fā)展已經(jīng)成為推動(dòng)北京快速邁向國(guó)際交往中心的重要途徑（an important approach to speed up the process for Beijing to evolve into an international exchange center）。北京應(yīng)該在此基礎(chǔ)上推出更多旅游套餐產(chǎn)品（tourism packages），同時(shí)推出更多定制旅游產(chǎn)品（customized tours），以滿足高端游客的需求。
