“我那破車太煩人了,只是蹭掉一點漆而已,竟然花掉我7000塊!”這樣的抱怨聽起來感覺怎么樣?嗯,我們知道那車一點都不破,而且挺值錢。炫耀自己的好車要這樣拐彎兒嗎?
Humblebrag, the combination of humble and brag, is the lowest, most despicable and loathsome form of self promotion, often delivered in one or two fragmented sentences on social media.
Humblebrag,就是humble(謙虛)和brag(吹噓、自夸)二詞的合成形式,即“謙虛自夸”,是一種最低級、最讓人鄙視、最令人厭惡的自我吹捧方式,通常以一兩個零散句子的形式出現(xiàn)在社交媒體上。
A typical and popular approach is to use a disingenuous complaint about something, a self-deprecating statement or a comment on something completely innocuous, as a vehicle to deliver the real message, which invariably shows the person in a favorable light. In fact it shows what an attention seeking and insecure person they really are. 常見的典型“謙虛自夸”手段就是通過對某事很虛無的抱怨、自我貶低式的言論或者對某個毫無關(guān)聯(lián)事物的評論來傳遞他真正想傳達的信息,而這個信息體現(xiàn)的肯定是他好的一面。事實上,這種謙虛自夸行為說明他們是極度需要關(guān)注、極度缺乏安全感的一群人。
