國家衛(wèi)計委員會通報，廣東出現(xiàn)首例輸入性中東呼吸綜合征確診病例?；颊邽轫n國男性，系韓國MERS病例的密切接觸者。26日乘坐OZ723航班抵達香港，經(jīng)深圳沙頭角口岸入境惠州。該男子已被隔離治療。截至目前，該病例的38名密切接觸者未發(fā)現(xiàn)異常。

Middle East Respiratory Syndrome (MERS) is an infection of the lungs caused by a virus known as a coronavirus and is written as MERS-CoV.
中東呼吸綜合征（MERS）是由一種冠狀病毒引起的肺部感染疾病，也叫做MERS-Cov。

Coronaviruses can cause illness similar to the common cold in the winter and spring months. This coronavirus is different than these viruses and has never been seen in humans before.
冠狀病毒能在秋冬季引起類似感冒的疾病，但這種冠狀病毒與感冒病毒不同，此前未曾在人類身上發(fā)現(xiàn)過。

No. SARS and MERS are both called coronaviruses, however, the two viruses are not the same.

Who gets MERS?

Most people who became ill with MERS had traveled to, lived in, or were in close contact with someone who had traveled to the Arabian Peninsula. It is unclear why some individuals become ill and why others do not. People with chronic health conditions or weak immune systems may be at greater risk.
大多數(shù)患中東呼吸綜合征的人都曾經(jīng)到過或居住在阿拉伯半島地區(qū)，又或者與到訪過該地區(qū)的人有過密切接觸。目前尚不清楚為何有些人會得該病，而有些人不會得。有慢性疾病或者免疫系統(tǒng)較弱的人群患病的風險較大。

Does MERS spread from person to person?

The virus that causes MERS has been shown to spread between two people who are in close contact.

The virus has also spread from infected people to health care workers.

Most people who got infected with MERS-CoV became severely ill with a respiratory illness with symptoms such as: fever, cough, shortness of breath.
