全國(guó)人大常委會(huì)27日開始審議刑法修正案(九)草案，此次刑法修改的重點(diǎn)之一是逐步減少適用死刑罪名，擬取消集資詐騙罪等9個(gè)罪的刑罰規(guī)定。

Chinese lawmakers are considering removing the death penalty for nine crimes including raising funds by means of fraud. The draft amendment to the Criminal Law was submitted on Monday to the Standing Committee of the National People's Congress (NPC).
全國(guó)人大常委會(huì)正在考慮對(duì)集資詐騙罪等9個(gè)罪免除死刑處罰。刑法修正案草案周一上交全國(guó)人大常委會(huì)審議。

集資詐騙即raising funds by means of fraud。刑法修正案草案即the draft amendment to the Criminal Law。其它8項(xiàng)擬免除死刑的罪名包括smuggling weapons and ammunition（走私武器、彈藥罪）smuggling nuclear materials（走私核材料罪）smuggling counterfeit currencies（走私假幣罪）、counterfeiting currencies（偽造貨幣罪）、arranging for or forcing another person to engage in prostitution（組織賣淫罪、強(qiáng)迫賣淫罪）、obstructing a commander or a person on duty from performing his duties（阻礙執(zhí)行軍事職務(wù)罪）、fabricating rumors to mislead others during wartime（戰(zhàn)時(shí)造謠惑眾罪）。
