7月9日至10日，第六輪中美戰(zhàn)略與經(jīng)濟(jì)對(duì)話(huà)和第五輪中美人文交流高層磋商將同時(shí)在北京舉行。

中美戰(zhàn)略與經(jīng)濟(jì)對(duì)話(huà)（US-China Strategic and Economic Dialogue）是中華人民共和國(guó)和美利堅(jiān)合眾國(guó)兩國(guó)間的定期高層對(duì)話(huà)機(jī)制，討論包括雙邊、地區(qū)和全球政治、戰(zhàn)略、安全及經(jīng)濟(jì)議題（bilateral, regional and global political, strategic, security, and economic issues）。該對(duì)話(huà)機(jī)制是由中國(guó)國(guó)家主席胡錦濤和美國(guó)總統(tǒng)奧巴馬2009年4月1日在倫敦會(huì)晤時(shí)一致同意建立的。首輪中美戰(zhàn)略與經(jīng)濟(jì)對(duì)話(huà)于2009年7月27日開(kāi)幕，次日閉幕。對(duì)話(huà)地點(diǎn)每年在兩國(guó)首都之間輪換。

本輪戰(zhàn)略對(duì)話(huà)，雙方將就中美關(guān)系（Sino-US relations）、各自?xún)?nèi)外政策（domestic and foreign policy）、雙邊重要敏感問(wèn)題（significant and sensitive bilateral issues）、兩國(guó)在亞太地區(qū)的互動(dòng)（interaction between two countries at the Asia-Pacific region）以及共同關(guān)心的國(guó)際地區(qū)問(wèn)題（international and regional issues of common concern）和全球性挑戰(zhàn)（global challenges）深入交換意見(jiàn)。

本輪經(jīng)濟(jì)對(duì)話(huà)，雙方將圍繞“推進(jìn)相互尊重、合作共贏的中美經(jīng)濟(jì)伙伴關(guān)系”（to promote a Sino-US economic partnership of mutual respect and cooperative win-win）主題，就宏觀經(jīng)濟(jì)和結(jié)構(gòu)改革（macro-economic and structure reform）、深化貿(mào)易與投資合作（deepening cooperation in trade and investment）、金融業(yè)改革開(kāi)放與跨境監(jiān)管合作（reform and opening-up of the financial sector and cooperation in cross-border supervision）三大議題舉行專(zhuān)題會(huì)議。
