備受社會關(guān)注的陜西富平產(chǎn)科醫(yī)生張淑俠拐賣兒童案1月14日上午9時在渭南中院公開宣判。張淑俠犯拐賣兒童罪被判死刑，緩期兩年執(zhí)行，剝奪政治權(quán)利終身，并處沒收個人全部財產(chǎn)。

Shaanxi doctor in court over child trafficking

An obstetrician-gynecologist in Fuping county, Shaanxi province, was given a two-year suspended death sentence at Weinan Intermediate People's Court on Tuesday after being found guilty of child trafficking.

渭南中級人民法院本周二宣判，陜西省富平縣婦產(chǎn)科醫(yī)生拐賣兒童罪名成立，并判處死刑，緩期兩年執(zhí)行。

“拐賣兒童”或者大家說的“販嬰”都可用child trafficking或baby trafficking表示，都屬于“拐賣人口”（human trafficking）。在產(chǎn)婦分娩后，這位醫(yī)生通常以“新生嬰兒患有先天性傳染病及先天殘疾”（the newborns suffered congenital disease or disabilities）為由，誘使家屬放棄對嬰兒治療并交由自己處理。之后便與人販子（human traffickers）取得聯(lián)系，將嬰兒處理。

“死刑緩期兩年執(zhí)行”可用a two-year suspended death sentence或者sentence someone to death with a two-year reprieve表示?！八佬塘⒓磮?zhí)行”則是a death sentence with immediate execution，有時簡稱immediate execution。
