Push present is a present a new father gives a new mother when she gives birth to their child. In practice the present may be given before or after the birth, or even in the delivery room.

新媽媽禮物是新爸爸在新媽媽生下孩子時(shí)送給她的禮物。在實(shí)際生活中，新媽媽禮物可能在生孩子前或生孩子后，或甚至在產(chǎn)房里送出。

Push present is always a piece of expensive jewellery, frequently diamonds — stud earrings, a jewel-encircled tennis bracelet or a solitaire pendant — push presents have become the posh way for new dads to compensate their partners for the agonies of childbirth.

新媽媽禮物通常是一件貴重的首飾，多為鉆石耳釘、鑲嵌了一圈珠寶的手鏈或單粒寶石的吊墜。新媽媽禮物已經(jīng)成為新爸爸彌補(bǔ)配偶分娩痛苦的一種時(shí)髦的方式。

This bonus goes by various names. Some call it the 'baby mama gift.' Others refer to it as the 'baby bauble.' But it's most popularly known as the 'push present.'

這一禮物有多種不同的說(shuō)法。有人稱之為baby mama gift，有人把它叫作baby bauble，但最普遍的說(shuō)法是push present。
