面會(huì)時(shí)間 face time

遠(yuǎn)程交流時(shí)代,就算相隔千里、萬里,兩個(gè)人也能通過網(wǎng)絡(luò)會(huì)面,距離在網(wǎng)絡(luò)面前顯得不那么重要了。由此而來的結(jié)果是,人與人面對(duì)面的face time越來越少了。
Ambitious workers used to fight for face time with the boss. Salespeople wanted more face time with customers. In these days of telecommuting, face time takes on an expanded meaning. It’s the time that telecommuters physically meet the co-workers they normally interact with through e-mail, chat or video-conferencing.
志向遠(yuǎn)大的員工會(huì)努力爭(zhēng)取與老板面會(huì)的時(shí)間。銷售人員希望能跟客戶有更多面會(huì)時(shí)間。在遠(yuǎn)程交流的時(shí)代,面會(huì)時(shí)間(face time)的含義得到進(jìn)一步擴(kuò)展,指平時(shí)主要通過郵件、聊天軟件或者視頻會(huì)議跟同事交流的遠(yuǎn)程工作族跟同事真正面對(duì)面交流的時(shí)間。

周四我會(huì)去辦公室,這樣我們就可以小小地面會(huì)一下。
