歷屆亞運(yùn)會會徽

亞洲奧林匹克理事會的第一代會徽設(shè)計(jì)的中間是一輪放射16道光芒的紅日，象征著亞洲是太陽升起的地方，代表著亞洲運(yùn)動(dòng)的蓬勃發(fā)展與迅速推廣。紅日上方是國際奧委會的標(biāo)志——五環(huán)，下面寫有“Ever Onward”，底部是“Olympic Council of Asia”的字樣。
第二代的會徽設(shè)計(jì)于2006年12月2日多哈亞運(yùn)會期間公布。新會徽的中央也是紅日，紅日上面盤環(huán)繞著一條龍，下面環(huán)繞著一只鷹，代表亞洲的團(tuán)結(jié)，并強(qiáng)調(diào)了東方巨龍中國以及鷹所代表的阿拉伯國家在亞洲體育中所起的重要作用。會徽下方是五環(huán)以及“Olympic Council of Asia”的字樣。新的會徽即日開始使用，但在首個(gè)使用新運(yùn)動(dòng)會的將是2007年亞洲室內(nèi)運(yùn)動(dòng)會。12月底，亞奧理事會的官方網(wǎng)頁上已經(jīng)逐步換上新的會徽。
由于亞運(yùn)會是由亞洲奧林匹克理事會主辦，所以自從第二屆亞運(yùn)會起，如歷屆奧運(yùn)會會徽必須要有五環(huán)圖案一樣，從今以后的亞運(yùn)會的會徽上也必須要融入會徽的中心圖案——放射16道光芒的紅日。
