人民大學英語畢業(yè)大戲上演在即

每逢六月，中國人民大學外國語學院英語專業(yè)的同學都會以畢業(yè)公演的形勢向學校匯報他們的學習成果。歷經(jīng)十幾載，這道一年一度的英語話劇盛宴已經(jīng)成為人大校園文化的一大亮點。而今年，由外國語學院與北京新航道英語培訓學校聯(lián)合主辦的的畢業(yè)大戲將于6月22日晚在人民大學逸夫四百人會議中心隆重上演，以兩部風格迥異的話劇，The
Price's Dilelmma(王子的苦惱)和美國著名女作家蘇珊·格拉斯貝爾的正劇Trifle再一次掀起人大校園的英語戲劇熱潮。
劇情簡介：
1. The Prince's Dilemma 《王子的苦惱》
Prince Ali Babba has 40 wives
altogether already. Yet the 41th wife is such a talkative one that he cannot
sleep well during the night. He wants to marry his servant Yasmine, a beautiful
girl. However, the fortuneteller has predicted that Prince will not live a haapy
life with Yasmine unless he has married two other wives. Margaret happens to
appear in the Palace because of the shipwreck. At the same time the one who
loves Margaret and who she loves come to the Palace. A play is going on
therefore...
王子阿里巴巴的第41任妻子是個能講一夜故事不睡的女人。盡管她貌美如花，王子卻已對她忍無可忍。
王子身邊的女仆Yasmine是個能歌善舞的漂亮姑娘，深得王子的喜愛，可是算命的告訴王子在他能娶到Yasime之前他必須要先娶他的42、43任妻子才行，否則他和Yasmine不會幸福。
逃婚的Margaret因沉船事件正好也到了阿里巴巴的國度，而巧的是她的未婚夫和她真正的心上人也因其后的擱淺而來到了王子的國家，一場鬧劇就這樣上演了......

A murder happened ina small town of America. Mr. Wright was found
died at home. Five people, Mr. and Mrs. Hale, Sherriff, Mrs. Peters and County
Attoney, came to the spot, Mrs. Hale and Mrs. Peters happened to find the
crucial clue through trifles, and they knew Mrs. Wright killed her husband. But,
they chose to conceal the
truth...
在美國的一個小鎮(zhèn)上，Wright先生在家里被謀殺。Hale夫婦，Peters太太，郡治安官和律師來到謀殺現(xiàn)場調查案件。過程中三位男士極度蔑視兩位女士的推斷，致使案情陷入僵局，然而她們通過一些瑣事找到了Wright太太的殺人動機，但因種種理由她們選擇保守為她這個秘密...
該劇的作者是美國著名女作家蘇珊·格拉斯貝爾，曾獲普利策獎獲。
本月二十二號之后的匯報演出是一部可視性極強的大師級劇目的精彩演出，值得期待。后續(xù)報道將細說這臺畢業(yè)大戲的臺前幕后。
