“實(shí)話實(shí)說”怎么說

大家都知道中央電視臺(tái)有個(gè)很火的talk show 節(jié)目，叫"實(shí)話實(shí)說"，那有沒有想過這四個(gè)字用英語要怎么表達(dá)呢？下面我們就來看一看。
A: I shouldn't have called you for advice. You're cruel, rude and ... Aarrgh!
我真不該打電話問你的意見的。你不但殘忍、無禮還……呃。
B: Well, I always tell it like it is and, unfortunately, sometimes the truth
hurts.
嗯。我一向?qū)嵲拰?shí)說的。只是，有時(shí)候，實(shí)話是傷人的。
Tell it like it is 就是"實(shí)話實(shí)說"的意思。其實(shí)大家如果注意一下這個(gè)節(jié)目的話，就會(huì)發(fā)現(xiàn)這句英語了。
和"實(shí)話實(shí)說"、"坦白相告"相反的，自然是"避重就輕"、"回避話題"了，這個(gè)要怎么說呢，我們看下面的對(duì)話：
A: Anna, please quit beating around the bush. There's somebody else, isn't
there?
Anna，請(qǐng)不要再回避話題了。(你心里)是不是還有別人？
B: I'm sorry, Bruce. I didn't mean to mislead you.
Bruce, 對(duì)不起。我并不是故意誤導(dǎo)你的。
這里的beat around the bush 就是"避重就輕；回避某些話題，兜圈子"的意思了。
