Qingdao pupils receive 'smile wristlets' [ 2007-03-20 16:22 ]
3月19日,青島香港路小學(xué)學(xué)生領(lǐng)到了首批“迎奧運(yùn)微笑圈”,他們還在印有北京奧運(yùn)會(huì)會(huì)徽的宣傳板上簽下了自己的名字和承諾。當(dāng)天,奧帆委、青島市文明辦等聯(lián)合發(fā)起“我們微笑,我們承諾”系列活動(dòng),從當(dāng)日至2008年8月向市民陸續(xù)發(fā)放30萬(wàn)至50萬(wàn)套“迎奧運(yùn)微笑圈”。

Qingdao's Hongkong Road received the first batch of "smile wristlets" for the
Olympic volunteers.
The Qingdao sailing sub-committee, along with the
relevant government department, will distribute 300,000 to 50,000 sets of the
wristlets to the residents till August 2008.
There are five colors of the wristlets: Red represents
readiness to help others; Yellow -- civility and politeness; Black -- honesty
and trustworthiness; Blue -- studying and forging
ahead
; and Green -- environmental protection.
The obverse side of the wristlets bears the characters of "smile, promise",
as well as the official emblem of the Olympics, while on the reserve side, it
says "Your smile is the best name card of Qingdao."
