The Olympic athlete's oath and official's oath

古代希臘奧運(yùn)會(huì)上,有奧林匹克的誓言,參賽選手要向神表明心跡?,F(xiàn)代奧運(yùn)會(huì)前五屆沒有舉行“宣誓儀式”,奧委會(huì)本準(zhǔn)備第6屆進(jìn)行,但由于第一次世界大戰(zhàn)而未能施行。從1920年第7屆開始,運(yùn)動(dòng)員的代表進(jìn)行了正式“宣誓”。
First sworn by the Belgian athlete Victor Boin at the 1920 Games of the 7th Olympiad in Antwerp, Belgium. The athlete swear on the Olympic Flag, "We swear that we will take part in these Olympic Games in the true spirit of sportsmanship, and that we will respect and abide by the rules that govern them, for the glory of sport and the honour of our country."
To reflect the changing nature of the sporting competition, the oath has been modified and the current version was introduced in 1999. It is:
"In the name of all competitors I promise that we shall take part in these Olympic Games, respecting and abiding by the rules which govern them, committing ourselves to a sport without doping and without drugs, in the true spirit of sportsmanship, for the glory of sport and the honour of our teams."
首次代表運(yùn)動(dòng)員宣誓的是比利時(shí)水球和擊劍運(yùn)動(dòng)員維克托-布安。誓詞的內(nèi)容經(jīng)過(guò)修改后最終在1999年確認(rèn)為:我謹(jǐn)以全體參賽者的名義宣誓,為著體育的光榮和本隊(duì)的榮譽(yù),我們將以高尚的體育精神參加本屆奧運(yùn)會(huì)的各項(xiàng)比賽,光明磊落,遵守規(guī)則。
The OLYMPIC OFFICIAL's OATH
奧林匹克的官方誓言是在1972年的慕尼黑奧運(yùn)會(huì)上首次出現(xiàn)的。它由主辦國(guó)的官員和裁判共同宣讀。
The Olympic Official's Oath was sworn for the first time in the XXth Olympiad at Munich in 1972. From 1972 onwards at each Olympics, an official or judge of the host country swears an oath. The words of which are:
"In the name of all the judges, I promise that we shall officiate in these Olympic Games with complete impartiality respecting and abiding by the rules which govern them, in the true spirit of sportsmanship."
誓言的內(nèi)容是:我代表全體裁判員和工作人員宣誓,我們?cè)诒緦脢W運(yùn)會(huì)上,將以真正的體育精神,尊重遵守奧運(yùn)會(huì)一切規(guī)則,公正無(wú)私地履行自己的職責(zé)。
