Thousands answer call for 2008 Olympic theme song（通訊員稿）

奧運(yùn)歌曲一直是歷屆奧運(yùn)會(huì)當(dāng)中備受關(guān)注的話題。北京2008年奧運(yùn)會(huì)歌曲的征集評(píng)選活動(dòng)進(jìn)入第四輪，收到音樂(lè)作品420多部，歌詞4800多首，其中絕大多數(shù)出自專(zhuān)業(yè)作者之手，并具備了一定的水準(zhǔn)。最終評(píng)選出的奧運(yùn)歌曲將在北京奧運(yùn)會(huì)倒計(jì)時(shí)１００天時(shí)公布。

Olympic theme song, more than 420 musical scores and 4,800 lyrics have been composed, organizers of Beijing Organizing
Committee of the 2008 Olympic Games (BOCOG) said.
Most of the works come
from professional musicians and according to BOCOG the quality is "quite high".
BOCOG said earlier that the deadline to submit candidate songs was March
10, 2008.
The worldwide solicitation, which
was launched on Jan. 21, also targets a theme song for the 2008 Paralympic Games
as well as theme songs for the torch relay and awarding ceremonies.

Olympics will be unveiled 100 days before the opening ceremony of the Games.
