“凡事預(yù)則立，不預(yù)則廢”。新的一年就快到了，你給自己定了什么目標？是升職？是參加某個培訓(xùn)？還是把懶惰扔得遠遠的，開始健身？先一起聽聽午休時來自某office的談?wù)摪伞?
Jack: Congratulate me, Lucy！I've bought a house so I can marry my girlfriend
this year.
Lucy，祝賀我吧！我買房子了，今年就能和我女朋友結(jié)婚啦！
Lucy: Cool！Congratulations！
啊，恭喜你！
Jack: Now I have to work harder and harder at my life
goals.
為了我的“終生目標”，我要更加努力地工作了。
Lucy: Life goals？To give your girlfriend a happy life？Good
man！
“終生目標”？讓你女朋友過幸福生活嗎？真是個好男人！
Jack: No, I don't care about her that much. I'm only thinking about paying
back the house loan. What's your goal,
Lucy？
不是，我還沒想那么多。我只是想還清買房的貸款。Lucy，你的目標是什么？
Lucy: I have three goals this year. One is to be healthier and more
beautiful.
今年我有3個目標，一個是更健康，更漂亮。
Do you have a life goal？What's your goal this year？If you do, then achieve
it.
不想當(dāng)將軍的士兵不是好兵，不想升職的員工也不能成為精英。老板有諸多激勵方式，吊著人的胃口。員工自己可得保持冷靜頭腦，不能為難自己，給自己定一個跳一跳就能夠得著的目標即可，有成就感才有勁頭繼續(xù)往前奔啊。Set
high, yet achievable goals for yourself.
NOTE:
pay back: 償還。pay back the house loan，還房子的貸款；pay back還有還情意的意思，如“How can he pay
people back for all their kindness？”（他又該如何報答大家對他的好意呢？）
