淺談“Sophisti-pop”
該如何形容這種音樂？淡淡的流行味道，絲絲的爵士情懷…… 只是，雖“流行”，它卻沒能成為流行的主角；雖“爵士”，它從未得到正統(tǒng)爵士迷的吹捧。
行走在主流音樂和非主流音樂的交界處，“Sophisti-pop”完美地融合了電子、爵士、搖滾、R&B等各色音樂元素，成為更輕柔、更為大眾接受的“爵士樂”。因?yàn)樗牧餍?，人們說Sophisti-pop“很爵士”；也因?yàn)樗摹昂芫羰俊保藗兏矚g把Sophisti-pop列為爵士的一種，稱它為“輕爵士”。
Sophisti-pop源于上世紀(jì)80年代，與正統(tǒng)爵士樂相比，它缺乏前者的厚重、深沉和大氣，也沒有爵士樂特有的“即興”成分。你說它精致也好，矯揉也罷，總之，20世紀(jì)80年代特有的音響合成，讓Sophisti-pop和著美妙多變的薩克斯風(fēng)一路優(yōu)雅走來，那么柔滑、那么甜美。
