日本糾纏“聯(lián)合國(guó)會(huì)費(fèi)”不放

據(jù)悉，日本11月8日提出一個(gè)新動(dòng)議，稱(chēng)中國(guó)應(yīng)承擔(dān)更多的聯(lián)合國(guó)會(huì)費(fèi)，而日本應(yīng)降低所承擔(dān)的份額。這是日本今年第二次提議中國(guó)增加所承擔(dān)的聯(lián)合國(guó)會(huì)費(fèi)份額。根據(jù)該動(dòng)議，德國(guó)和安理會(huì)常任理事國(guó)俄羅斯也應(yīng)該增加會(huì)費(fèi)份額。

It is the second time this year that Japan has suggested that regional rival
and permanent council member China boost its fees contributions. Under the

dues”（聯(lián)合國(guó)會(huì)費(fèi)份額），我們暫把注意力轉(zhuǎn)到“dues”的用法。日常生活中，若你是某俱樂(lè)部、某協(xié)會(huì)的會(huì)員，向組織交納的“會(huì)費(fèi)”就可用dues來(lái)形容（注意，此時(shí)的due必須是復(fù)數(shù)形式），如“membership
dues”（會(huì)員費(fèi)）。
Due做形容詞時(shí)，與“會(huì)費(fèi)”相應(yīng)的詞義是“應(yīng)付的、欠付的”，常放置于被修飾詞之后，如：a letter with five cents postage
due（一封欠資5分的信件）；the amount still due（尚欠額）。
此外，如報(bào)道所示，在相同語(yǔ)境下，due可和fee或contribution相互替換。
