Dear Dr. Philips
Thank you very much for your letter concerning our technical training
programs. Your tentative plans sound excellent and we are sure that your
personnel will benefit from the training you intend to establish.
The courses we have worked out for the engineers in the research department
of your East Power Industry Company are the result of several years' effort.
Since some of the areas it pursues are of a classified nature both for our
purposes and because of industrial regulations, you can understand why it is not
possible for us to send you a detailed outline of the program.
We have already referred your letter to one of our extension division. They
will contact you within two weeks. The program they have developed is specially
established for the engineers in the atomic power application which will prove
of the same value to you. Meanwhile, for your most convenience, we are enclosing
an article in the June issue of Engineering Research, which describes several
corporate training programs for engineering development in the power industry of
our country.
Thank you again for your interest in the cooperation of human resource
development. And we are also looking forward to your success in this field.
Yours sincerely
