inside trading: 內(nèi)線交易

7月10日，轟動(dòng)一時(shí)的“臺(tái)開(kāi)”非法股票交易案宣告?zhèn)山Y(jié)起訴，包括陳水扁女婿趙建銘及其家人在內(nèi)，共有13人名列被告。臺(tái)北地方檢察署以涉嫌“內(nèi)線交易”的罪名起訴扁婿趙建銘，要求判處其有期徒刑8年。

報(bào)道中的“insider
trading”就是讓扁婿栽跟頭的"“內(nèi)線交易”。Insider常用來(lái)指“了解內(nèi)幕的人”，源于形容詞“inside”（內(nèi)線的，潛伏作奸細(xì)的），如：inside
facts/story（內(nèi)幕，內(nèi)情）；inside man（內(nèi)線）。
另外，詞組on the inside 可用來(lái)指“知情”或“核心成員”，如：
I'm not that much on the
inside.（我并不深知內(nèi)情。）
He gave his men the feeling of being really and truly on
the inside.（他讓手下人感到他們確實(shí)是心腹。）
