11月22日，德國(guó)基民盟領(lǐng)袖安吉拉·默克爾正式宣誓就任二戰(zhàn)后德國(guó)第八任總理，她也是德國(guó)歷史上首名女總理。外電報(bào)道如下：

報(bào)道中的abstention指的是“棄權(quán)”，abstention from
voting意思就是“棄權(quán)不投票”。Abstention有“節(jié)制、克制”的意思，比如：abstention from alcoholic
liquors（戒酒）；abstention from exerting
pressures（不施加壓力）。
