正當(dāng)?shù)谒妮喠綍勔堰M入確定共同文件內(nèi)容的關(guān)鍵時刻，美國代表團團長希爾卻一改連日來的“友好”態(tài)度，警告說如果會談沒有進展，則“沒有理由繼續(xù)呆在這里”。希爾此言用意何在？外電報道如下：Delegates

Korean nuclear disarmament talks were preparing on Wednesday to submit
final comments on a draft of principles meant to move the stalled
negotiations forward.
But on Tuesday, the main U.S. envoy to the talks, Assistant Secretary
of State Christopher Hill, said it was possible that the latest round of
talks would end without any agreement.
"Whether we have a draft that everyone agrees on, or whether it's
decided that there should be a recess of some kind, we don't know yet,"
Hill said, adding that negotiators were "close to the end of this round"
after eight days of talks.
Recess表示“休息；休假；休會；暫時中斷”，例如：an hour's recess at
noon（一小時午間休息）。此外，recess還有“壁凹，幽深處”的含義，如：in the inmost recesses of his
thoughts（在他思想的最深處）；a recess in a coastline（海岸線的凹進處）。
據(jù)專家分析，希爾這著棋以近似亮出底牌的方式，一來可以逼迫朝鮮就范，打破僵局；二來可以提高談判的要價，為自己爭取更好的談判地位。
朝鮮外相白南舜日前已表示，如果朝鮮半島核問題得到圓滿解決，朝鮮將重新加入《不擴散核武器條約》，并將接受國際原子能機構(gòu)的核查。
