當(dāng)?shù)貢r間6月21日下午，以色列南部一列客運列車與一輛運煤卡車相撞，三節(jié)車廂出軌，造成七人死亡，近200人受傷。這是以色列有史以來最嚴(yán)重的交通事故之一。

and sent three cars tumbling off the tracks in a
sunflower field in southern Israel, killing seven people and injuring nearly 200
in one of Israel's worst train accidents.
The mangled cars were strewn around the field, far from main roads and
cities. Dozens of passengers were thrown from the somersaulting cars.
In a country traumatized by mass casualties after four years of
Palestinian suicide bombings, officials emphasized that the collision was
an accident, not a terror attack.
Somersaulting在此表示“翻滾的”，somersault原指“筋斗，翻筋斗”。例如：He practiced standing on
his head and turning somersaults.（他練習(xí)倒立和翻筋斗。）
據(jù)悉，出軌列車共運載了300到400名乘客，與火車相撞時正以每小時80公里的速度行駛。而那輛運煤卡車的載重達(dá)40噸，并且司機(jī)此前已持續(xù)駕駛了30個小時。
