委內(nèi)瑞拉總統(tǒng)烏戈·查韋斯·弗里亞斯是世界政壇的風(fēng)云人物，人稱(chēng)“拉美雄獅”。12月26日，他圓滿結(jié)束了對(duì)中國(guó)為期三天的國(guó)事訪問(wèn)。訪問(wèn)期間，中委兩國(guó)簽署了在經(jīng)濟(jì)技術(shù)和基礎(chǔ)設(shè)施建設(shè)等領(lǐng)域進(jìn)行合作的八項(xiàng)協(xié)議，中國(guó)企業(yè)被允許參加委內(nèi)瑞拉東部15個(gè)油田的石油開(kāi)發(fā)，中國(guó)承諾為委內(nèi)瑞拉提供4,000萬(wàn)美元的農(nóng)業(yè)信貸額度。外電報(bào)道如下：President
Hugo Chavez said oil and gas deals he recently signed with the Chinese,
part of a strategy to reduce reliance on U.S. export markets, will boost
trade with the Asian country to nearly $3 billion next year.
Speaking to reporters Monday after his return from a five-day visit to
Beijing, Chavez said the trip brought "great results" for Venezuela.
The agreements allow Chinese companies to explore for oil, set up
refineries and produce natural gas in the South American country,
officials said earlier.
Chinese companies intend to invest $350 million in 15 oil fields in
eastern Venezuela, and $60 million in natural gas projects, Chavez said
Monday. Venezuela will receive $250 million next year from China for fuel
oil exports, Chavez said.
Refinery表示“精煉廠，煉油廠”因?yàn)閞efine有“提煉，提純，使高雅”等含義。據(jù)悉，中方可以沿Orinoco河投資建設(shè)新的煉油廠。委內(nèi)瑞拉的石油儲(chǔ)量位居南美之首，是世界第五大石油出口國(guó)。委內(nèi)瑞拉這十五個(gè)油田已探明儲(chǔ)量有一億桶，每天可以產(chǎn)油100多萬(wàn)桶，每個(gè)月將供給中國(guó)12萬(wàn)桶油。
