據(jù)悉，國際奧委會事后發(fā)表聲明稱：由于利馬的堅忍不拔突出體現(xiàn)了奧林匹克公平競賽的原則和精神，我們打算為他頒發(fā)一枚“皮埃爾·德·顧拜旦勛章”。
